Susan Prinz Shear M.A. is a child of Holocaust survivors and a
former teacher and school counselor who educates teachers and
students about the Holocaust. Susan studied at Yad Vashem's
International School for Holocaust Studies in Israel and Poland and
worked as an interviewer of Holocaust survivors for Steven
Spielberg's Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. She
served as Education Specialist for the Holocaust Awareness Institute at the University of Denver, worked with Regis University and
conducts presentations, workshops and trainings for teachers and
students regionally and nationally No Way Out the story of Susan’s
family in Nazi Germany told through their own letters, continues to be
a central focus of her work. Susan developed a workshop based on
her family's attempts at escaping Nazi Germany, published a
Teaching Curriculum and a Readers' Theatre for school use. No Way
Out will be available as a short story in the soon to be published The
Call to Memory: Learning About the Holocaust Through Narrative.
Recently Susan completed a full script of No Way Out ideal for Regional, Community and University
theatre productions.
